Dr. Ameen J. Amirie, DDS, BMSc
Dr. Ameen Amirie was born and raised in Edmonton and graduated from the University of Alberta where he received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Sciences degrees. Upon graduating, Dr. Amirie practiced in Edmonton before moving to Grove Dental.
Dr. Amirie is a strong believer that patients should be treated how he would like to be treated. He is very committed to providing excellent patient-centered care and keeping up to date with the highest levels of care by attending multiple continuing education courses. During dental school, he enjoyed volunteering to provide dental work for underprivileged youth at no cost and has a keen interest in volunteering for dental missions around the world.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Amirie loves to travel with his wife Rana, hike, and play all sports, especially ice hockey and tennis.
Dr. Ashley Wacker, DDS, BMSc
Dr. Wacker was born and raised in Edmonton, and completed her Bachelor of Medical Science, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Alberta. Dr. Wacker's goal is to make every dental visit as comfortable as possible, and an overall positive experience. She believes in open communication with patients and strives to play a significant role in comprehensive care dentistry.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Wacker enjoys spending time outdoors biking and golfing, as well as reading and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen!
Dr. Rana Haidar, DDS, BMSc
Dr. Rana Haidar was born and raised in Edmonton, and attended the University of Alberta where she obtained both her Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and firmly believes in continuously updating and expanding her knowledge in dentistry in order to provide the best dental care possible for her patients. Dr. Haidar is big on preventative dentistry and feels that it is very important to educate and engage her patients with regards to their oral health. She is dedicated to providing quality dental care and making every dental visit as comfortable as possible for all her patients.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Haidar enjoys traveling, Bikram yoga, cooking up delicious meals and spending time with her family. She is also an active member of the community and is always finding ways to give back. Dr. Haidar is the co-founder of Sponsoring Orphans Worldwide which has to date helped sponsor over 700 orphans from across the globe!
